Jax began creating this imaginative photographic series to expand upon and explore her love of Shel Silverstein poems and drawings in a medium she adores, and now, she would like to invite YOUR CHILD to join in on the fun!

*All participants must be willing to sign Model/Minor Release due to the nature of the project. Kade’n Kian Photography will be using the final images in a variety of marketing avenues.
”Shel Silverstein's book, "Where the Sidewalk Ends", has been with me since childhood. Many afternoons were spent daydreaming while paging through the fanciful poems accompanied by artistic pen-and-ink drawings. Since then, I have cherished reading the poems to my boys, especially when they were toddlers and I would receive big belly laughs before bedtime! I declared this book their "Forever Book" when they were both in kindergarten, in hopes that one day they will pass along the imaginative reads to their own children.”

CONSULTATION
Jax will connect with you to start a dialog around your session. This is the beginning phase, where we will plan and coordinate the Shel-inspired poem that has been chosen for your child’s photoshoot. If you have a particular poem in mind, feel free to let Jax know, and she’ll consider!
Sessions designed for children ages 5-14. Most themes require one child, but there are a handful that require 2 or more.

PHOTOSHOOT
Your photoshoot will take anywhere from 20min to an hour, based on complexity and theme. Jax will supply all needed props for most themes, however, some may require clients to supply props and/or client participation. If your child would like to be involved in the creation of props, we will discuss this at your consultation! Expert direction, lighting, posing, and a super fun atmosphere will be provided!
*Photoshoot takes place in the comforts of my home studio, or on-location within 30mi from studio.

HD FINE-ART PRINT
1-2 weeks after your photoshoot, Jax will reach out via email to reveal your beautiful, fully-retouched, work of art! At this time, Jax will also place an order for your matted HD fine-art print (7x10” print / 11x14” mat, included with your session-fee), as well as provide an opportunity to upgrade to wall-art in a variety of sizes and mediums.
Jax will contact you as soon as print/wall-art is delivered to studio and schedule a time for pickup. If you prefer to have your print shipped to you, you will be responsible for any shipping costs.
